Dublin Local Enterprise Office & Minister Pat Breen launch Brexit Scorecard for SMEs

Preparation is key to succeed and grow strong business. 75% of micro-enterprises expect impact of Brexit over the next 18 months. Pat Breen, Minister for Department Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.

Element78 are keeping a close eye on the impact that Brexit will have on SME’s. We are entering the UK market ourselves and need to be well prepared for our business to survive. We attended a briefing this morning hosted by Local Enterprise Office – Dublin to mark the launch of their online Brexit Scorecard service.

The main theme of the Ministers speech was centred around being prepared, planning ahead and availing for all of the supports that government are providing through Enterprise Ireland and LEO.

The resources include the Brexit SME Scorecard. It is a free tool for Irish exporters to the UK. It helps to check the readiness of your business looking at Strategy, Operations, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Innovation, People and Management. Other supports include the trading on-line voucher, the Innovation Investment Fund and the Lean Business Programme.

Check out Enterprise Ireland or your Local Enterprise Office as they are a great source of information and support.
